Wouldn’t you want to know how it would be to be on a an ENTIRE planet made of ice. Well not entirely but mostly. But, we are going to get into that a bit later. Along with that you will find out a bunch of other stuff. I will be giving you facts from 2 different sources. SO if you read all the way to here then you might as well read the rest. (unless you’re as lazy as me)
Neptune is the 8th planet in our solar system. As a result of this, it takes 165 Earth years to orbit our sun. It was first discovered in 1846 and finished its orbit in 2011. This planet is made up of mostly gas which makes it extremely cold there. Now imagine that being whipped at you at supersonic speeds. Ya that would suck.
Named after the Roman god (Neptune duh), scientist have calculated that Neptune is made up of 60-70% ice. After hearing that you would be surprised to hear that the ice isn't what makes it blue. It is actually the methane that does.Almost as surprising as hearing that it is a whopping 4x bigger than earth. That's one loooong road trip.

Woah You made it all the way to here. You have a really long attention span. Hopefully you’re going to leave my umm……….. Essay? With some sort of new knowledge . Now you know what I meant by “mostly made of ice”. Each source had different facts about Neptune but there were also just as informational as the other. On a different topic knowing that it is so far away i wonder how long it will be until we can senp life forms there. Probably not in this century since we can’t even send lifeforms to mars.
